Carrie and David Pick Up the Crumbs..

Well if you are at all hooked in to the “fattyverse” you’ll know that over the past couple of days a little custom, fancy, cupcake bakery out of North Carolina called “Crumb” has been the focus of intense flame wars and trolling for being insensitive to us fatties.   You can read about the whole debacle here and here.

Now, when skimming over their website I get the distinct message of “we’re high falootin’ and also we can be gluten and nut free” … ok well maybe not “nut” free (har har).  By god they charge $8 for their cupcakes which is more expensive than the custom organic ones I’ve had done at Whole Foods in days yonder of blissful gluttony.

So let’s get something really very very clear:  Carrie and David are poison peddlers not so different from McDonalds or any other poison peddler. They peddle food that is deadly to us fatties…. so it would seem if they dislike us, they’d love to sell us a lot of their unhealthy product. Er… or maybe that’s how they should be thinking. Come to think of it, maybe that’s why they don’t work out of a brick and mortar, because they only sell cakes to “beautiful people” they like. And as we all know, for any sugar-salt-fat peddler, the fatties are their best customers.

Cakes, no matter how much whole wheat flour they are baked with, ARE NOT HEALTH FOOD. I don’t give a monkey’s behind if it’s gluten free, “organic” or whatever.   FRUIT is health food.  Vegetables are health food. Cakes are for skinny people without a problem, not for us fatties. Therefore we shouldn’t bother ourselves worrying about some two-bit home-kitchen “bakery” and what they think about us; for the record, I don’t like them either! They sell things that are poison to my body!

Please enjoy a piece of fruit and a half mile walk tonight instead of a cupcake. ;)
